Our Story

2008 is when it all began.  Myles and his sister, Lauren were into skateboarding and Myles asked his Mom, Lisa to take him to the skate shop to buy some wax.  If you aren't familiar with skateboarding, wax is used on ledges, rails, curbs, etc., to allow the board to slide/grind across the surface. When Mom saw the wax and the price she immediately told us that we could make it at home and didn't need to keep buying it.  And so it began..... with family brainstorming, we ended up deciding to recycle wax and use an ice tray as our mold - lending itself to the name "Street Ice".  Yes, our mom, Lisa, came up with the name Street Ice.

From there, it was all history. As two teenagers with the support of our parents (they have been the most supportive parents and there is no way we could have done this without them), we turned the backroom of our house into the shop.  We started with just wax and sold our first piece of wax on July 23, 2008.  We expanded more and more, hand-making shirts with spray paint and stencils.  We learned how to screen print, and taught ourselves how to do everything and put a lot of blood sweat, and tears into our passion project.  We have had the support of our parents from the beginning, and have had love and support from so many other family and friends through the years.

Little did we know that this would eventually turn into a worldwide brand.

Over the years, we have sponsored and worked with many Athletes, Artists, Musicians, Missions, etc.  Myles was the driving force of Street Ice for years and now that he has passed away, we must continue the legacy of Street Ice in his honor.
